CDrama: Ending of Best Choice Ever 承歡記

Ending:

Just a bit of background before we launch into the ending of this drama:

Yao Zhi Ming and Cheng Huan becomes a couple together, Zhi Ming finally feels the warmth of family thru Cheng Huan’s family.  Zhi Ming’s estrangled father appears after many years after his jail term, and gets used by Zhi Ming’s rival (Zhang Fu Zong) at work to sabotage Cheng Huan’s hotel. He later tries to make amends after Cheng Huan many sincere attempts of reconciling Zhi Ming and him. After much persuasion and reasoning of Cheng Huan, Zhi Ming decides to forgive his father. 

But, before he can see his father face to face, his father meets with a fatal accident. Zhi Ming becomes depressed, seeing that he has lost his father and earlier his grandmother, realizing he is now all alone. Cheng Huan’s family rallies to help Zhi Ming, by preparing food and showing concern to him. Zhi Ming moved by their concern, lifts himself out of depression and thanks the family, realizing he too is gaining a loving family.

Cheng Huan’s mother gets bad news from hospital doctor, showing there’s a tumor in her lungs. She goes into overdrive with her imagination, thinking she will be a burden to her family. Unable to bear the humiliation of it, she runs away from home asking her family members to leave her alone. Everyone in her family including Zhi Ming looks for her at her ancestral home, and she stubbornly refuses to go home. 

Her husband, normally mild, invokes a threat that he will abandon her if she doesn’t accept treatment. But when it doesn’t work, he tells her that she is being selfish and reassures that he will be with her through it. 

The family decides to give mother a bit of time, so they accompany her at her ancestral home, even helping her recollect her love of opera. They arrange for a show of Chinese opera, and persuades her to perform as in the past. Mother feels satisfaction and is grateful for her family, in the end she decides to go for treatment.

1 year later, Cheng Huan’s mother recovers after tumor is removed. Cheng Huan and Zhi Ming establishes a hotel near the parents ancestral home. This hotel is based on the theme of helping guests feel as if they have gone home, to feel the warmth and of being able to be themselves.

The drama ends with the whole family sitting down for dinner on Lantern Festival Day, with mother asking when Cheng Huan and Zhi Ming plan to get married. Getting no answer from them, the dinner continues with them chattering away in the homely atmosphere.  

Ending: Happy? well happy family ending

My thoughts: This is a drama revolving around Cheng Huan's family. So, actually the Male lead and Female lead love story is there but not exactly the main story. Its  family drama that makes you think of your family...

Kdrama -You Are My Destiny Ending

My thoughts: This is such a up and down story and it has just gone for far too long. it's mainly a daughter in law story vs mother in law. The mother in law is just too much, and the main actress' character Sae Byuk is just too forgiving. I like Tae Poong, he's simple enough to understand hahaha.. Enough said, let's get to the ending..and this concentrates on Sae Byuk's story If you have been following the story, Mi-ok, Sae Byuk's real mother tries her best to help her daughter be happy. She tries different ways, but she has leukemia. Sae's Byuk's mother in law (Min Jung) also finds out she has leukemia. (such a lot of people have leukemia in this series). Anyway, Sae Byuk decides to donate her bone marrow to her mother in law. And Mi-Ok health is deteriorating fast. But, grateful to Sae Byuk for saving her life, Min Jung goes to US and finds a relative who is a match for Mi-Ok, and takes her back to save Mi-Ok's life.

Cdrama- Love Endures, Yao Jiu Jiu Ai 要久久爱 Ending

                                      (Spoilers ahead) Ying Zi finds out that something is amiss with Yi Fei. Her friends Jiang Yi, Ming Yu, Zhuang Yuan all seems to be hiding something from her. One day, when she sends an email to Yi Fei, she notices that Jiang Yi’s phone buzzes… It turns out that Ying Zi witnessed her best friend, Yi Fei’s suicide and suffers from PTSD. Everytime she relives her memories of Yi Fei plunging to her death or when her friends try to help her realize that Yi Fei has died, it overcomes her and causes her to faint out of shock. When she wakes up the the next day, she has no recollection of Yi Fei’s tragedy and thinks that Yi Fei is overseas. For this reason, Jiang Yi vowed to himself to find a cure of Ying Zi. Seeing that her PTSD is getting worse, he decides to speed up his 12 year project of producing a Virtual Reality Game which may or may not help Ying Zi’s...
