  Spoilers ahead.... Ending: Just a bit of background before we launch into the ending of this drama: Yao Zhi Ming and Cheng Huan becomes a couple together, Zhi Ming finally feels the warmth of family thru Cheng Huan’s family.   Zhi Ming’s estrangled father appears after many years after his jail term, and gets used by Zhi Ming’s rival (Zhang Fu Zong) at work to sabotage Cheng Huan’s hotel. He later tries to make amends after Cheng Huan many sincere attempts of reconciling Zhi Ming and him. After much persuasion and reasoning of Cheng Huan, Zhi Ming decides to forgive his father.  But, before he can see his father face to face, his father meets with a fatal accident. Zhi Ming becomes depressed, seeing that he has lost his father and earlier his grandmother, realizing he is now all alone.
