Cdrama- Love Endures, Yao Jiu Jiu Ai 要久久爱 Ending

Ying Zi finds out that something is amiss with Yi Fei. Her friends Jiang Yi, Ming Yu, Zhuang Yuan all seems to be hiding something from her. One day, when she sends an email to Yi Fei, she notices that Jiang Yi’s phone buzzes…

It turns out that Ying Zi witnessed her best friend, Yi Fei’s suicide and suffers from PTSD. Everytime she relives her memories of Yi Fei plunging to her death or when her friends try to help her realize that Yi Fei has died, it overcomes her and causes her to faint out of shock. When she wakes up the the next day, she has no recollection of Yi Fei’s tragedy and thinks that Yi Fei is overseas.

For this reason, Jiang Yi vowed to himself to find a cure of Ying Zi. Seeing that her PTSD is getting worse, he decides to speed up his 12 year project of producing a Virtual Reality Game which may or may not help Ying Zi’s trauma. In the end, with the help of the VR Game, Ying Zi properly says her goodbye to Yi Fei and puts her sorrow behind her. Ying Zi kisses Jiang Yi, knowing that he sacrificed so many years just to find a cure for her, and even impersonating Yi Fei to accompany her.

Ying Zi receives an lucrative offer in Beijing, but is torn to go or not. Realizing Jiang Yi has always been with her every step of her life, she boldly announces to Jiang Yi, that he’s more important than Beijing and then proceeds to  propose marriage to him. Jiang Yi looks so horrified, and turns her down. Ying Zi shocked and disappointed, drowns her sorrow with alcohol till she blackout.  She erases all traces of Jiang Yi from her phone, determine to forget Jiang Yi. 

Jiang Yi passes a message through Ming Yu, saying they should meet up to settle things between them. And she gets a huge surprise when Jiang Yi proposes to her. 

         YES, he's about to get down on one knee....     
 

Jiang Yi tells her he rejected her proposal as he should be the one proposing and that he has prepared this day for such a long time.  Ying Zi happily and tearfully accepts Jiang Yi proposal and he puts the ring on her finger. (P.S Stefanie Sun makes a guest appearance as she is Ying Zi's favorite singer) 

Ending: Happy

My Thoughts: Didnt see the amnesia plus PTSD twist coming, It can be a bit draggy in the middle with many flashbacks, but overall quite an interesting drama.

They kiss again (ISWAK 2) ending

My thoughts: Normally sequels don't do well, but this one was quite good. Of course, there were moments you go "huh?" for eg the honeymoon situation with the other couple, but it was still bearable. The scenes between both of them are even more in this sequel and fans were no doubt pleased. Other than the abnormally long PG scenes from the director, i thought they film it quite properly and it had continuity. AND i love the ending!! On to the ending.. The Last episode started off with Xiang Qin receiving a call from Ah Jin and Christine (they are so cute together) saying that they are really happy, and married. After that, Zhi Shu says to Xiang Qin that having her is the best thing in the world. Then, they discovered that the whole family is down with flu. Zhi Shu tells Xiang Qin to bring medical instruments for him and she appears in the nurse uniform (cute!!) Pediatrical unit needed an extra nurse, so Xiang Qin gets sent over there with all the kids.
