The last episodes starts with Xiao Ru and Jie Xiu months later finally getting a clue on Xiao Ru’s mother details. As it turn out, Xiao Ru’s mother is the wife of the boss of a triad group/gang. Her husband has passed away, and Xiao Ru’s mother is supposed to take over the situation.

Jie Xiu and Xiao Ru tries to infiltrate the gang at a certain nightclub, but gets caught. The gang members beat Jie Xiu up, and even more so when he protects Xiao Ru. Suddenly a woman comes and rescue them. Then, she is revealed to be Xiao Ru’s mother. Xiao Ru’s mother tearfully explains the situation before. Xiao Ru’s mother had refused to take over the gang, but she was dragged away. She however managed to escape, and left her baby with the orphanage. When she realised that Xiao Ru was her daughter, she helped her behind the scenes. (Many scenes are shown, how the mother protected…very touching)

Jie Xiu works hard to make Xiao Ru fall in love with him, but realises that she keeps pushing him away. He finds out that she has a sister which they have a estranged relationship, and goes all out to find the sister and helps Xiao Ru patch up their relationship. Xiao Ru is so moved and both of them kiss in the end.

At Yi Xian’s (XRu’s ex) wedding, everything is beautiful and Yi Xian and wife and Jie Xiu, Xiao Ru have a final talk, where they frankly expressed happiness at each other’s outcome. However, everything is spoiled by paparazzi guy who crashes in while the ceremony is on, declaring that Jie Xiu and Xiao Ru ‘s marriage is a fake, and that Ai Wei is the one that handed it over.

To Xiao Ru’s surprise, Jie Xiu doesn’t deny and says he’ll divorce her. But, later, he explains he wants to end his marriage of lies and start afresh with Xiao Ru, with her free will. So, Jie Xiu proposes to her again with the wedding cows, which Xiao Ru happily agrees.

Their relationship progresses when Xiao Ru as Mrs supports Jie Xiu through a business crisis. She encourages him when he’s about to give up his career as a designer when a project almost comes to a halt. Jie Xiu catches Ai Wei cuddling with another model from her company under the influence of alcohol, and confronts her. He accuses her of not being there by his side while he suffered his crisis, while he has always been there for her for the last 10 years. He also tells her that the person who has been encouraging him is actually Xiao Ru. Ai Wei gets angry and breaks up with Jie Xiu.

Jie Xiu goes back home to find a drunken Xiao Ru reminincing her past with Yi Xian,. He’s fed up, and tells her to let go of the past. Xiao Ru cries, and Jie Xiu comforts her.

The next day, Jie Xiu surprises Xiao Ru with balloons, and tells her that he will lend happiness to her. They go to the holiday villa Jie Xiu is suppose to check for his next project, and Xiao Ru gets more surprises. JIe Xiu made prior arrangement for their room to be decorated with her favourite flowers, and later at lunch he has asked for the chef to prepare dishes that Xiao Ru created in her diary.
Unknowingly to her, Ai Wei and Rickie (the lead star of movie) is at the next table. Ai Wei gets upset , when she sees that Jie Xiu and Xiao Ru is getting very close.

Lin Xiao Ru (Rainie) has been looking forward to getting a marriage proposal from her boyfriend of 4 years, Ren Yi Xian (Kingone). Yi Xian appears in front of her at the restaurant she’s working at, and gives a shock as they were suppose to meet at Vegas. They gladly greet each other, and he hints to her that they he will be proposing.

Meanwhile, Ai Wei(Tiffany) is a famous model, and she’s going to crossover to the acting world, where she has landed a lead actress role. Ai Wei has a secret ongoing secret relationship with Jie Xiu (Joseph) . However, they almost get caught by a paparazzi reporter, and Xiao Ru helps them escape safely. Jie Xiu decides later that he needs to proposed to Ai Wei, and buys a ring, decorates his house beautifully. When Ai Wei arrives. He gets on his knee and ask if she’s willing to leave the entertaininment business. She smiles and says yes, but is totally engrossed when the director calls her to talk about her role. Ai Wei rejects his proposal, and walks away, leaving Jie Xiu heartbroken.

Oh wow, we get a twist at the end.

Yang Yong Joon (Yang Jr) offers to tell all at the press conference, including to resign as president candidate if Jini lets his father go. Jini contemplates, and agrees to it. She brings the gold along with Ji Woo to the address of the press conference, only to be attacked viciously. Jini smiles though as her bag supposedly filled with gold, turned out to be filled with clothes! And the ‘righteous’ Yang Jr announces at the press conference that he’s going to run as president without other funding except for the party’s . The police burst in on Jini and Yang Jr and their attackers, rescued them by taking them to the police. Jini says that this was Plan B with a smile. In the end, they escaped the hospital in the disguise of a doctor and a nurse.

Later, Kai reunites with Sophie. In wonder, they see the supposedly dead Hwang Mi Jin infront of them. Hwang Mi Jin informs them that both of them want the same thing, to take down Chairman Yang. They then realised that Hwang Mi Jin is working for none other than…. Yang Jr!! Yang Jr and Mi Jin also uses his men to kidnap Chairman Yang, and takes him to an isolated house with guards.

The story so far…

Ji Woo has found out that Jini is being chased after by Melchidec, who is Chairman Yang. Chairman Yang want a joseon bank note from Jini which will help him find gold bars that was hidden during the Korean war. All the soldiers that knew about the gold bars were killed by him, except for Jini’s grandfather. Ji Woo also finds out that Kai, whom Jini only trusts, is actually business partners with Chairman Yang. Kai tries to get Chairman Yang to guarantee Jini’s safety in exchange of the Joseon Bank Note. When Jini realises that Kai is involved, her heartbreaks and she refuses to trusts him anymore. Kai tries to make amends by trying all ways to protect her, even to the extent of threatening Chairman Yang’s son, Yang Young Joon, to convince his father to let her go. Chairman Yang knowing that Kai is a threat, orders Sophie, Kai’s secretary, who actually works for Chairman Yang, to kill him. However, Sophie fails, and risks her life to protect kai from hired killers.

Meanwhile Ji Woo slowly figures out the story behind the bank note, but he struggles to close the case. Do Soo has caught him a few times, and though he escapes eventually (even once with a straw) the more alarming problem is that evidence has surfaced denoting that Ji Woo killed Jini’s family. With that he is framed for multiple murders including his partner Kevin. (both of them were involved in concluding that Jini’s parents committed suicide years ago, which not long later, Kevin was killed).

Ji Woo manages to convince Jini that he has been framed and Kai being involved, the only person she can trusts is him now. They figure out the location thru the joseon bank note, but when they arrived, Hwang Mi Jin (Yang’s agent) and Nakamura Hwang (Ji Woo’s informant/mentor/fellow detective) have already found the gold. But, Hwang Mi Jin gets shot at, and then vanishes into thin air at the hospital. Police too arrives, and Do Soo takes the gold back to the police station.

Synopsis
The story unfolds with our hero, Ji Woo (Bi) showing off his skills in a car chase, dodging hooligans and endless stream of bullets, and huge explosion after a car crash which he walks off coolly from. Then, he shows off his detective skills in solving a missing painting, but shows his business skills even more by making sure that the painting becomes a national heritage, if he’s paid a huge sum.
Interestingly, a certain someone is watching him a far ,Jini (Na Young) and is satisfied that Ji Woo is quite competent. He goes to his hidden office to employ him and entrusts him with a very difficult case. To find Melchidec. That was all the information he was going to get from her. He agrees to take the case as the cash reward is huge, and starts to contact his network of fellow detectives, Nakamura in Tokyo, Jang in Beijing, etc.

The last episode:

Ouchen discovers a letter from Xiao Chen and hands it to Luo Xi. Luo Xi reads it out while filming, and after Xia Mo hears it, she believes Xiao Chen is telling her that he wants her to be happy. She faints thereafter.
In the hospital, the doctor announces that Xia Mo is pregnant, and Ouchen is so happy. Xiamo also says that she will be a good mother and also will take care of Ouchen.

Later, Ou Chen seems to be avoiding her. Xia Mo even tells her friend that she hasn’t seen Ouchen much lately. Even when Xia Mo tries to call Ouchen, he doesn’t pick up.
Ou Chen gets a surprise when he sees Xia Mo asleep on the couch in his office, and when he is by her side, she wakes up and shows him a picture.
Later, Ouchen is spotted buying baby stuff at the supermarket, and Xia Mo eventually discovers the baby room. When Xia Mo says that she knows Ouchen ‘s secret, Ouchen looks a little shock. And then, Ou chen also shows her another room, if it is a baby boy.
Xia Mo goes to the award ceremony without Ouchen, because he can’t go with her, and she wins the best actress award. Meanwhile at home, Ouchen watches the telly, and then leaves home after leaving a letter for Xia Mo. Xia Mo finds out that Ou Chen is leaving and rushes out .

On the way to the airport, Ou Chen’s letter is revealed. Part of I says that he knows that Xia Mo will remain forever by his side for the sake of the baby. However, he says that Xia Mo deserves to have a person she loves, and to spend the rest of her life with him, and to be truly happy. So, he didn’t want to be selfish and wanted to leave and give her the freedom.

At the airport, Ouchen was surprised when he saw that Xia Mo said when accepting her award that her husband was the one by her side every minute. Ouchen was happy but still wanted to leave.
Xiamo burst into the airport, frantically looking for Ouchen. Ouchen catches a glimpse of her, but still struggling turns his back and leaves. Xia Mo senses him, and rushes to see him.
She tells him that she has read his letter, and why he has to leave like that. Ouchen says that it is only by forcing her to be by his side, that’s him. Xia Mo then tells him, not to leave her, and that she wants him to know that she has fell in love with him, and that LuoXi is in the past.

Luo Xi starts to strongly doubt Xia Mo’s love for him, as he feels that Xia Mo has struck a bargain with Ou Chen in order to help Luo Xi. More misunderstandings ensues, but when Xia Mo tries to explain and reassure Luo Xi, he’s upset that Xia Mo doesn’t avoid Ou Chen. In the end, he breaks up with Xia Mo. Even though Xia Mo hugged him and told him that she loved him, he just said he couldn’t trust her and left.

Xiao Chen has a serious illness. He’s kidney needs a transplant, or he may only last a few months. The only one who has a match is actually Ou Chen. So, Xia Mo pleads Ou Chen for a transplant for her brother. But, Ou Chen refuse and say he wants to pay back what Xia Mo did. Then, Ou Chen say he would do it under one condition, which is if she married him. Xia Mo tried to find other ways, but failed. Then, she had to rush over to hospital as her brother was in critical state. Ouchen who saw her suffering, say that he will do the transplant, but Xia Mo said that they should get married. Ouchen agreed and at that time, LuoXi heard about it.

On the day of wedding, Luo Xi stopped Xia Mo who was on the way to the church. Luo Xi said to XiaMo that if she will cry if he dies. After LuoXi leaves her, Xia Mo goes to the wedding. During the wedding, Luo Xi tries to call Xia Mo repeatedly, but it’s not answered as the phone is turned off. Luo Xi is upset and while filming, he’s injured seriously and hospitalised. Along with that, Xiao Chen finds out about the marriage contract, and refuses to do the transplant. At that, Xiamo faints, and have high fever.

Xia Mo is an orphan girl who loves her adopted family , consisting of dad, mum, and younger brother. One day, a new orphan was brought into the family, Luo Xi. II Jung has actually recovered from his illness, but has been pretending to be still sick to spy on his wife and manager Han. Later, he confronts both of them, and also accuses them of having a part in his mother’s death, which they denied. It ends with Manager Han pushing II Jung to the floor, and Ma Jun later confessing to his father what he saw as a child.

Yu Kyung is taking revenge to a higher level. Seeing that the family is breaking apart, she asks Ma Jun if he’s satisfied with the result, as he wanted revenge. Ma Jun cannot believe what he’s hearing. In Sook is about to fall apart, Yu Kyung openly instructs her mother in law to give up her position, and that she’s going to take over.

Ma Jun meanwhile has his issues too. He tells Manager Han, that a traitor to his father, is also a traitor to him, and he would not accept him.Ma Jun’s marriage life has been a mess to as Ma Jun since their first night of marriage life has been messing around, clubbing and not coming home, after all wasn’t it just a farce.
Takgu finds out about his little brother, drags him out of the club, teaches him a lesson in the kitchen. He tells him to grow up because he’s married. Ma Jun breaks down in tears and Tak Gu’s asks him to endure and continue living their lives.

Manager Han, seeing that he has lost everything, asks In Sook to leave with him as what he did was for Ma Jun and her. In Sook refuses and say she can’t live without her husband.

II Jung asks Manager Han to choose 2 options, 1 is an airplane ticket, or to the police.

Takgu’s childhood friend Shin Yukyeong and Takgu meets. When they are about to start on a relationship, Majun plots to destroy it. Majun unable to accept that Yukyeong ignores him, and favors Takgu instead. When Yukyeong gets arrested on being an activist, Majun uses Yukyeong’s freedom as a bait. He promises to find a way of letting her go, but in exchange he has to give up seeing her for two years. So, Takgu concentrates on being the best baker in order to fight with Majun after two years.

Later , In Sook start getting threatening letters, and starts to fear that it’s from Takgu mom. Actually, t s later revealed that Takgu’s mom is not dead and that she is looking for Takgu. Her doctor friend, the one who’s caring for her, acts as her informant when he visits In Sook house for consultation.

Gu II Jong, the chairman of Geosung Foods Enterprise, is disappointed that his wife, In Sook has not bore him an heir, a son to inherit his business. She has again given birth to a female baby. She visits a fortune teller and is shocked to hear that her husband will have a son with another woman. That woman is Kim Mi Sun, a maid in the house. In Sook also bears a son, but the father is Han Seung Jae, II Jong’s manager. Manager and In Sook tries to get Mi Sun to abort her baby, but she escapes.

Kim Takgu, the eldest son of Gu Il Jong, now lives with Mi Sun in a small place with another loud speaking aunty and his son. One day, Takgu goes unknowingly to II Jong’s factory, and steals from it.
